In the late autumn of 2014, the life of 29-year-old Anthony Gamache, a male from Goshen, was cut short in a violent encounter. On November 18, in the parking lot of a Big Y supermarket in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Gamache was involved in what authorities described as a drug deal. He was inside a car with at least two other men when a robbery was attempted. During the course of this crime, Gamache was shot once in the leg.
