On the morning of April 6, 2015, the sound of gunshots broke the quiet of a Methuen, Massachusetts neighborhood. When police responded to the reports at 5 Phillips Street around 10:30 a.m., they discovered the body of 29-year-old Jose Matias-Susana, a resident of nearby Lawrence. An investigation was immediately launched into the death of the male victim, who had been fatally wounded by multiple gunshots.
