In the early hours of March 13, 2016, a night out with friends took a tragic and fatal turn for 26-year-old Larry Santiago Jr. of Ludlow, Massachusetts. Santiago was shot and killed while sitting in his own SUV outside the Open Door Cafe in Ludlow at approximately 12:44 a.m.. The incident stemmed from what was described as a senseless argument between friends who had been celebrating a mutual friend's birthday.
