On a Saturday morning in Boston, on November 5, 2016, a young Black / African American man named Anthony Toombs was found shot inside a car on Nazing Street in the Roxbury neighborhood. The 24-year-old was rushed to a hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Friends of Toombs, who knew him as "Lil Ant," were left mourning his sudden and violent death.
