In the late morning of a Wednesday in March 2017, the life of 20-year-old Jonas Trinidad Jr. was abruptly cut short on the streets of New Bedford, Massachusetts. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a young man known to his family and friends, the son of Jonas Trinidad and Sandra Torres.
