In the city of Springfield, Massachusetts, a young Hispanic man's life was cut short on a Tuesday in late September. Christian Hernandez-Rivera, a 23-year-old male resident of the city, was fatally shot on September 26, 2017. The incident that led to his death unfolded on Baldwin Street, where the Springfield Police Department responded to a report of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered evidence of a shooting.
