In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the life of a 28-year-old Black / African American man, Ednilson Decosta of Dorchester, was tragically cut short. On October 14, 2017, at approximately 3:30 a.m., while sitting in a car on Windsor Street, Decosta was fatally shot. He was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
