On a cold evening in Boston, on February 6, 2018, the life of Dwayne Nelson, a 27-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short. The incident occurred at the intersection of Norton Street and Bowdoin Street in the Dorchester neighborhood. At approximately 7:54 PM, gunshots rang out, and Nelson was fatally wounded.
