On the morning of August 14, 2018, a Black or African American man named Yashua Amado, 29 years old, was fatally shot in Boston, Massachusetts. Amado and a friend had just picked up breakfast in Mattapan Square and were sitting in his parked car on Deering Road at approximately 9:46 a.m. when the attack occurred.
