On a winter morning in Boston, a party in the neighborhood of Mattapan turned into a scene of tragedy, ending the life of 29-year-old Jeudy Romero. The male victim, a Black / African American U.S. Army veteran and father, was fatally shot on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Romero, who had served in the war in Afghanistan, was pronounced dead at the scene on Goodale Road from gunshot wounds.
