On the evening of May 27, 2019, Zachariah Ramsey, a 29-year-old Black/African American man, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in Springfield, Massachusetts. The shooting took place in the vicinity of Parker and Kazbeck Streets. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Baystate Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
