On the morning of August 6, 2020, the life of 26-year-old Lovenson Pierre of Quincy was tragically cut short. Gunshots rang out near the intersection of Hazleton Street and Blue Hill Avenue in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood. When police responded to reports of the shooting at approximately 9:09 a.m., they discovered Pierre suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Boston EMS personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead.
