In the winter of 2007, a promising young Black / African American recording artist named Tazmyn Soares had his life cut tragically short at the age of 17. On the evening of December 21, Boston Police responded to a report of a person shot at 68 Cedar Street in the Roxbury neighborhood. There they found Soares, who was pronounced deceased.
