On November 16, 2020, a tragic incident occurred in the Hyde Park area of Boston, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Bolivar del Jesus Soto Jr. from Jamaica Plain. The incident took place around 10:04 p.m. at 18 Church Street, between River and Hillis streets, where officers responding to a report of a shooting found Soto suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
