On September 4, 1969, a tragic and violent incident occurred in Portland, Oregon, resulting in the deaths of 71-year-old Margaret Rosenberry and her 27-year-old granddaughter, Gail Snelling. The perpetrator of these murders was Douglas Franklin Wright, a man who was known to the Rosenberry and Snelling family.
