In the summer of 1970, a roadside encounter in the small community of Marcola, Oregon, tragically cut short the life of 21-year-old Thomas Elroy Davis Jr. On June 23rd of that year, a dispute erupted between Davis and another man, Robert Wayne Danielson, culminating in a fatal act of violence. The argument escalated to a point where Danielson brandished a firearm and shot Davis, ending his life.
