On a Sunday afternoon in Fairmont, West Virginia, the lives of two men from Detroit, Michigan, came to a violent end. Jemiez Weathersby, a 31-year-old Black / African American man, and Earnest Cole Jr., 21, were found deceased on March 19, 2017, inside an apartment on Satterfield Street. The discovery was made at approximately 4:15 p.m., and the scene that confronted law enforcement was grim.
