On March 11, 2016, Black male Terall Adams, age 20, was shot multiple times while sitting in a vehicle on the 800 block of North Latrobe Avenue in Chicago's Austin neighborhood.
The shooting happened around 5:45 p.m., and first responders rushed him to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:15 p.m. He had been living in Plainfield, a southwest suburb, and an autopsy later determined he died of multiple gunshot wounds, which were ruled a homicide.
