On the evening of May 29, 2010, Jeffrey D. McAdam, a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male from Victor, Iowa, was working at a rest area along Interstate 80. His life was abruptly cut short when he was fatally shot. A passing truck driver discovered McAdam in the men's restroom, suffering from a gunshot wound, and immediately alerted the authorities.
