A 17-year-old Black male named Kendall Foster was the victim of a fatal shooting in Des Moines, Iowa, on the evening of April 27, 2016. Foster was a sophomore at North High School and was just weeks away from his eighteenth birthday at the time of his death. The incident that led to his death unfolded in the Beaverdale neighborhood of Des Moines.
