In the summer of 2021, the life of 18-year-old Robert Wayne Powell-Moore III was tragically cut short in Dubuque, Iowa. On the afternoon of Saturday, July 17, 2021, police responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of 14th Street and Central Avenue. There they found Powell-Moore with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was quickly transported to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
