On a winter day in West Haven, Utah, the life of Arthur Sherman Backus, a 48-year-old male, came to a violent and abrupt end. On February 3, 2006, outside his own home, he was confronted by an assailant in his driveway. The man, identified as 44-year-old Warren Dee Fellows, fatally shot Backus multiple times. The motive for this tragic event was later revealed to be Fellows' discovery of an affair between his wife and Backus.
