On a cold Monday night in Orem, Utah, the life of Tonja Marie Nash, a 40-year-old Caucasian female, came to a tragic and violent end. The events of October 16, 2006, unfolded in front of her home as her two young sons, aged 8 and 11, became horrified witnesses to their mother's murder. The evening began with an argument between Tonja and her boyfriend, Keith Lamont Morton, which quickly escalated. As her older son attempted to call for help, Tonja and her younger son tried to flee.
