On a tragic evening that shattered the peace of Salt Lake City, Jeffrey Phillip Walker, a 52-year-old Caucasian male, lost his life. It was February 12, 2007, when a visit to the Trolley Square Mall with his son turned into a scene of unimaginable violence. Walker was one of five victims fatally shot in a random act of violence that left the community in shock and mourning. His son, A.J., who was with him at the time, was critically injured in the attack but survived.
