On June 22, 2017, 47-year-old Richelle "Shelly" Horsley was tragically killed in Taylorsville, Utah, in an apparent murder-suicide involving her former partner, 49-year-old Fransiska Dastrup. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. near 2524 Hard Rock Drive, where Dastrup allegedly rammed her vehicle into Horsley's car, exited, and shot Horsley multiple times before fleeing to a nearby alley and fatally shooting herself.
