In the quiet town of Mapleton, Utah, a deeply disturbing event unfolded in November 2017, shattering the community's sense of peace. A 16-year-old Caucasian female, Samantha Badel, a sophomore at Maple Mountain High School, was found deceased in her home alongside her mother, Jessica Griffith, her 5-year-old half-brother, Alexandre Griffith, and her stepfather, Timothy Griffith. The family dog was also discovered deceased at the scene.
