A woman's nude body is found floating in a canal
Carrie Anne Wayne, a 28-year-old woman living in Salt Lake City, Utah, was brutally murdered in July 1983. She was last seen alive on July 22, 1983, at the Casa Blanca Motel on West North Temple, where she had been staying. Her body was discovered six days later, on July 28, in a surplus canal near the Kennecott smelter.
