A motorist discovers a nude female strangled and beaten to death On a late summer evening in 1984, a 29-year-old Caucasian female named Julie Ann March was last seen by a friend who dropped her off in downtown Salt Lake City at 2nd South and State Street. March, who was born on March 19, 1955, had been at a gathering place called "The Tree" earlier that evening of August 27th. Known by several aliases including Miss Kitty, Crystal, and Monique, her departure from the downtown area marked the last time she was seen alive.
