On a Tuesday afternoon, February 5, 2019, tragedy struck in a West Valley City home, forever altering the lives of a group of teenagers. Fifteen-year-old Hispanic male, Marquez Grajeda, was with friends at a house on the 1300 block of West 2320 South during their lunch break from school. Inside a bedroom of the residence, what should have been a carefree interlude from classes turned into a scene of devastating violence.
