In the early hours of November 1, 2019, a Halloween party in Roosevelt, Utah, turned deadly, leaving two men dead. One of the victims was 23-year-old Tyrell Davon Sowsonicut, a Native American man from Fort Duchesne. The Duchesne County Sheriff's Office received reports of gunfire at a home near 1250 West and 850 North at approximately 12:15 a.m. Upon their arrival, deputies found a grim scene with two deceased individuals.
