In the winter of 2019, the life of a 40-year-old Caucasian female, Ashlie Logston, was cut tragically short in an incident that would take years to see a legal resolution. On December 9, 2019, in an East Carbon, Utah home, emergency dispatchers received a call reporting an accidental, self-inflicted shooting. Upon arrival, authorities found Logston in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her head. She was holding a firearm while seated when the weapon discharged.
