In the quiet community of Kearns, Utah, a story of violence and betrayal unfolded, culminating in the tragic death of 25-year-old Hispanic female, Conzuelo "Nicole" Solorio-Romero. On February 6, 2021, Solorio-Romero was forcibly taken from her home at gunpoint. Before being abducted, she managed to send a frantic message to her sister, expressing her fear. The kidnappers forced her into a car and drove her to a studio apartment in West Valley City.
