On a tragic night in New Haven, Connecticut, the life of 14-year-old Francine McClease, a female, was cut short. On August 25, 1966, a man named Arthur J. Davis entered her family's home at 16 Northeast Drive armed with a carbine rifle. Davis, reportedly upset over his estranged relationship with a woman who had left him earlier that day, unleashed a horrific attack on the occupants of the house.
