On October 14, 1992, at approximately 2:10 a.m., 24-year-old Eddie Harp was fatally shot while driving his station wagon near Saint Raphael's Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Earlier that night, Harp had visited his friend, hospital employee Sheila McCray, during her lunch break.
