Rickie Tyson Major, 44, male, was shot and killed on the evening of July 8, 2015, inside a residence at 162 Frank Street in New Haven. Police were dispatched around 7:57 p.m. for reports of a shooting; paramedics confirmed he had died at the scene. His identity was released the next day as detectives continued working through the night at the Frank Street address, collecting evidence and piecing together what had unfolded.
