On the evening of March 30, 2019, a 26-year-old Black/African American male named Stephon Walthrust from Queens, New York, was fatally shot in Stamford, Connecticut. Walthrust was discovered in the driver's seat of his car on Garden Street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The driver's side windows of the vehicle had been shot out.
