In the summer of 2015, a tragedy unfolded in Phoenix, Arizona, that cut short the life of a seven-month-old infant girl named Kelsie Cook. On August 7, 2015, Kelsie was left unattended in a vehicle for approximately one and a half hours. The scorching Arizona heat turned the car into a deadly environment, and Kelsie was found in critical condition. She was rushed to the hospital, but tragically, she succumbed to her injuries on September 2, 2015.
