Keekee Fleming, an 18-year-old, was shot and killed on September 11, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. The tragic incident took place during a vigil that was being held for another victim of gun violence who had been killed just a day earlier. Fleming was among three individuals who were shot at approximately 8:07 p.m. while attending the vigil in the 8900 block of South Justine Street in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
