In the spring of 2017, the life of 38-year-old Dedrick Lamont Jordan Sr. was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of Wednesday, March 22, 2017, Jordan was found in a grassy area in the Ensley neighborhood, having sustained a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
