Samuel Abner Weaver, 41, male, White/Caucasian, served as the town marshal of England, Arkansas, when he was fatally shot on April 30, 1902. Earlier that month he had arrested a local physician, who was jailed for several days and nursed a grudge. On the day of the killing, the doctor confronted Weaver in town.
