On the evening of September 25, 2015, a dispute over a parking space at a Raceway gas station on State Line Avenue in Texarkana, Arkansas, tragically ended the life of 22-year-old Jesse James Hamilton, a White/Caucasian male. The incident began around 10:30 p.m. when Marvin Arrell Stanton, arriving with a group of motorcyclists, confronted Hamilton about his truck being parked in a spot the bikers regularly used.
