In the quiet community of Quitman, Arkansas, a tragedy unfolded on May 15, 2016, shattering the peace and leaving a lasting scar on the small town. On that Sunday afternoon, at approximately 2:20 p.m., the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a residence on Heber Springs Road West. Inside, they discovered the bodies of 55-year-old Tim New and 21-year-old Sawyer New. Both men had died from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
