In the late summer of 2017, the community of Springdale, Arkansas, was unsettled by the violent death of a young man. On the afternoon of August 17th, police responded to a call that led them to an apartment in the 200 block of Strawberry Meadows. Inside, they discovered the body of 24-year-old Xavier Williams. He was found alone, having sustained apparent gunshot wounds, and his death was immediately treated as a homicide, with foul play suspected by the investigators.
