In the autumn of 2017, the life of Harold Miller Jr., a 54-year-old man from Monticello, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at approximately 12:25 PM, a shooting incident was reported at a location known as McCray's garage on West Shelton Street. When Monticello Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Miller deceased. The investigation into his death was soon taken over by Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division.
