In the early morning hours of April 13, 2018, the life of Eric Woods, a 55-year-old Black / African American male from Little Rock, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded around 2 a.m. at the intersection of 26th and Gaines Streets. Witnesses later recounted seeing Woods standing and talking with someone in a dark-colored sedan that had stopped in the street.
