On June 16, 2018, the body of 19-year-old Charles Alden Niederbrach Jr., known as 'Charlie,' was discovered near an old bridge approximately five miles from Interstate 30 in Gurdon, Arkansas. His body was found on the bed of Terre Noire Creek near Bateman Road in Clark County. Charlie had been residing in Gurdon for the past three years, having moved from Fremont, California. Born on December 20, 1999, in Hayward, California, he was the son of Charles Niederbrach Sr. and Wanda Tucker.
