Lawrence Williamson

In the early morning hours of Father's Day, June 17, 2018, Lawrence Williamson, a 39-year-old Black male from Forrest City, Arkansas, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. outside of Club Envy in his hometown. An altercation that began inside the club reportedly escalated and spilled outside, culminating in the deadly gunfire that claimed Williamson's life. He was struck multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
