On September 26, 2018, DeAndra Lamond Arnold, a 39-year-old father from Poplar Grove, Arkansas, was fatally shot outside his home in what authorities believe was an attempted robbery. The incident occurred on County Road 113, approximately 20 minutes outside of Helena-West Helena. Witnesses reported seeing two men arrive at Arnold's residence; one exited the vehicle and began shooting at Arnold, who was struck by multiple bullets.
