In the pre-dawn hours of October 12, 2018, the quiet of a Maumelle, Arkansas neighborhood was shattered by a violent attack that claimed the life of 60-year-old Jerry Richard Stuart. A beloved husband, father, and respected member of the community, Stuart was ambushed in his own driveway as he was leaving for work at approximately 4:45 a.m. His wife and neighbors discovered him gravely injured, and it was soon determined that he had been both shot and stabbed.
