In the winter of 2019, the community of Blytheville, Arkansas, was shaken by the violent and untimely death of 22-year-old Keodrae Jones. A Black male, Jones was known for his fun-loving personality and a passion for basketball that he had cultivated since his time at Blytheville High School. His life was abruptly cut short on the evening of February 20, 2019, when he became a victim of gun violence.
